DESCRIPTION

This project is heavily inspired by the current emergency in terms of food production and climate crisis. There is a tremendous demand to fulfill food, especially with massive population growth. However, the climate crisis affected all aspects of life particularly in the agricultural system, for example, rising sea levels and temperature. Therefore, an innovative solution is needed to adapt to the current situation, but still expecting more productivity and better results.

In this project, we used a drip irrigation system due to the ability to water the land frequently but with low intensity of water. Yet, previous research showed that this system is more effective than the conventional irrigation system. Also, to be a part of the solution to solve the on-going climate crisis, we decided to use solar energy. Solar energy will be converted to electricity to activate the tank water on the land using a solar panel. Therefore, the results would be better because we are trying two solve two different issues within a system.
